How long is each lesson?Each booking can be 1 hour, 1.5 hours or longer. We will go with students’ preferred schedule.

Do I need to work with a fixed time/ day or based on availability?Students who enroll in our private lessons will enjoy scheduling flexibility, therefore, students can book, reschedule, and cancel classes 12 hours ahead at no charge.

Can I choose a teacher?All of our teachers are experienced and well trained. Your professional course consultant will arrange a suitable teacher according to your schedule, current level, and future learning needs. Before classes start, we will share the suggested teacher’s profile with you for sure.

Can I have a trial lesson before committing?Yes! For new students, a free 20-minute trial lesson will be offered for students to experience the teacher’s style. Or students can have a paid session with the teacher to experience one full lesson.

How long does it take to be fluent in Mandarin?As a general guide, it may take 1-2 years to reach conversational proficiency for someone who is a total beginner. Based on Mandarin Channel School’s curriculum, we have designed a 6 to 8-week group class schedule for HSK 1 beginners. After you finish it, you can communicate simply and directly with daily topics you are interested in.
